Product Description – Grouting Grout

Profab colored grout is a two-component product and is very strong and unique. Its two components include one component of cement grout modified with special polymers and the other component is colored acrylic resin reinforced with nanotechnology. This product has a very high resistance to positive hydraulic pressures and is a very good option for sealing, grouting, sealing the floor of toilets, bathrooms and kitchens, etc. This product is also very resistant to acids and household detergents and is also very resistant to the accumulation of microbes and fungi between the applied surfaces. The grout is colored by the liquid component, which makes the color of the product more durable and long-lasting after application, and considering that organic pigments are used to color the hardener, the quality of work is much higher than similar cases.

In general, the product offered has different types, which are known above all by their colors. In fact, this product is considered one of the construction mortars. The main purpose of using this product is to integrate different parts on the building surface with each other.

Ceramic and tile grouting is considered one of the finishing stages of the building that prevents water and moisture from penetrating the layers and covering materials of the wall. It can also be said that it will be visible as the last stage in the work’s appearance, so the visual importance of the work will be of great importance.

This product is a type of product that is used to fill and seal the spaces between tiles and ceramics. Due to its diverse colors, this product, in addition to its technical performance, can contribute to the beauty and harmony of the decoration. The product in question is suitable for use in humid environments due to its high resistance to water and humidity. Using this product, due to its numerous features and advantages, as mentioned, is a suitable option for construction and renovation projects, both technically and aesthetically.

Common packaging of grouting slurry

1.5 kg can (contains 500 grams of nano glue + 1 kg of special banding powder)

Usage rate of Profab two-component nano grout

The exact amount of Profab two-component jointing grout is determined by the dimensions of the ceramic tile, the depth and width of the joint. For example, for ceramic tile with dimensions of 40 x 40 cm, a thickness of 12 mm and a joint width of 3 mm, each 1.5 kg can is sufficient for jointing 8 to 10 square meters of surface.

How to use Profab two-component jointing grout

The joints to be bonded or repaired with Profab Two-Component Nano Bonding Grout must be completely clean and free of any dirt, grease, or dust. Otherwise, completely empty the joints with a sharp object, wash them thoroughly with water and a brush, and then dry them completely.

  • First, pour the liquid component of the Profab Nano Jointing Grout into a container, then slowly add the powder component and mix until a homogeneous and uniform mixture is created. Be careful that the powder to liquid ratio is formulated and packaged in a ratio of 1 to 2 and must be mixed in the same ratio. If the desired section for jointing requires less jointing grout, use a scale to accurately weigh the powder to liquid ratio and then mix.
  • Please note that adding any additional materials, including water, cement, or filler, to the grout mixture is prohibited and will impair its effectiveness.
  • Pour the grout onto the joints and spread it with a spatula until it penetrates completely into the joints and seams. Note that for grouting ceramic and tile with a porous surface, it is necessary to cover the edges of the tiles with wide paper adhesive before grouting so that after applying the Profab grout, there is no need to clean the surface by simply removing the adhesive, and in addition, the grouting result will be much cleaner.
  • Depending on the weather conditions of the area, the surface can be used 24 to 48 hours after applying the two-component Profab nano jointing slurry.

Each one and a half kilo can of Profab Nano Two-component Jointing Compound, which contains 500 grams of nano adhesive and one kilogram of high-quality jointing powder, both of which are produced using high-quality materials. This type of nano adhesive acts as water to combine with the powder to form a mortar, and since acrylic styrene resins are used in its formulation, it increases the adhesion of particles to each other and can also strengthen adhesion to tiles and ceramics. Another of its features is that it greatly increases durability and longevity.
