Superplasticizer is a liquid additive based on polycarboxylate ether. Concrete superplasticizer is a very strong reducer of concrete mix water and is a very strong enhancer of high-performance concrete and significantly improves the dispersion of cement particles. The use of this product is strongly emphasized for the requirements of making special concrete (self-leveling and self-compacting) and concretes whose regulatory requirements are to minimize the water-to-cement ratio or in special conditions where the slump loss cannot be compensated with other superplasticizers. Due to the significant reduction in the water-to-cement ratio, carboxylate superplasticizer increases the resistance and reduces the permeability of concrete against the penetration of destructive chemicals and consequently increases the durability and strength of concrete.
