Product Description – Quick-setting microsilica power gel
Power Gel Microsilica Fast-Setting is a powerful and modern product that is the most developed and powerful product among super-pozzolanic microsilica products and is formulated and produced with the main base of polycarboxylate ether and silica fume as the main components and other additives such as fillers, sealants, setting accelerators and polypropylene fibers. Power Gel Accelerator has a lower usage rate and a more severe reduction in water than other microsilica products. By adding this material to the concrete mixture, the rheological properties of the concrete in the paste state will be improved by achieving the desired fluidity and increasing the slump, and finally, the concrete will have better mechanical and electrical properties after hardening. The higher fluidity of Power Gel Microsilica Fast-Setting causes the silica fume and catalysts and water repellents in the product to flow better into the concrete paste and form a homogeneous and better paste texture that will have high density and cohesion after hardening and will be impermeable. In addition to providing the aforementioned properties, this material accelerates the hydration process and causes concrete to set faster. Also, using this product increases the fluidity of concrete without the need to add superplasticizer again.
Power Gel Microsilica is a fast-setting material used in concrete for construction. Power Gel Microsilica is a fast-setting microsilica with features such as increasing the durability and stability of concrete in melting and freezing cycles, reducing the cement content, and preventing cracks in concrete. Power Gel Microsilica is durable against destructive chemical ions and is very suitable for concreting in cold climates and cold regions. It is also ideal for making strong and durable concrete, whether reinforced or unreinforced.

Consumption of fast-setting microsilica power gel
The amount of Power Gel Microsilica Fast-Setting is determined by conducting detailed laboratory studies, but the amount of Power Gel Microsilica Fast-Setting is usually 1 to 3 percent of the weight of the cement used. Note that to achieve high compressive strength and achieve strong concrete, you must reduce the mixing water by 20 to 25 percent before adding this material. The amount of cement used in the concrete mixture can be reduced by the amount of Power Gel Microsilica Fast-Setting additive added. Excessive use of this material can increase the setting time beyond normal and create weaknesses in the hardened concrete.
Storage of quick-setting microsilica power gel
How to store quick-setting microsilica power gel?
Duration: One year in original packaging.
Conditions: Away from cold and frost, heat and direct and prolonged sunlight.
Best storage temperature: +10 to +30 degrees
How to use fast-setting microsilica power gel
Fast-setting microsilica power gel can be added to concrete in two ways:
- Combine this product with all or part of the concrete mixing water and then add to the dry materials and mix.
- Fast-setting microsilica power gel can be added after adding all the components of the concrete mix.
Note: Be careful that mixing operation must be performed for at least 1 minute per cubic meter of concrete.
Note: Excessive use of this material can increase the rapid setting of concrete beyond the allowable limit and weaken the final properties of the concrete.

Mechanism of action of quick-setting microsilica power gel
The silica fume in the formulation of Power Gel Fast-Setting Microsilica is a powerful pozzolanic material that can be a suitable substitute for cement and has the same function as cement. After mixing with water and calcium hydroxide, silica fume reacts and thus produces hard calcium silicate, which has a significant effect on hardening concrete and increasing its strength. The polypropylene fibers in the structure of Power Gel Fast-Setting Microsilica, in turn, will improve the mechanical and abrasion properties of concrete. The pre-setting materials also accelerate the hydration and setting process of cement and make it possible to achieve early compressive strength. In addition, the polycarboxylate ether contained in the formulation of fast-setting microsilica power gel, which acts as a lubricant, forms a membrane on the cement particles, and the spatial barrier caused by the thickness of the absorbed layer prevents the cement particles from accumulating together, and creates a repulsive force between the particles due to the absorption of polymer particles and the formation of homonymous charges, thus lubricating the concrete.
Safety of quick-setting microsilica gel power gel
- This material is not toxic or hazardous to the environment.
- If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
- In case of accidental contact with skin or eyes, wash immediately with plenty of fresh water.
