Metal Concrete Fibers
Description
Metal Concrete Fibers
Metal concrete fibers in most cases replace rebar and weave rebar networks for reinforced concrete production. The reason for the use of steel fibers is to create numerous technical and economic advantages of steel fibers for concrete.

Features:
- Reinforced concrete cohesion by fiber distribution
- Creation of post-stress force after the explosion
- Prevent cracks (crack control) by shrinking plastic cracks

Product Description – Concrete Metal Fibers
Reinforcing concrete with concrete metal fibers has been widely welcomed by respected practitioners and has mostly replaced rebar in the reinforcement section, and the need to make rebar networks for reinforcing concrete has been reduced. Concrete metal fibers have many technical and economic advantages for concrete. In industrialized and advanced countries, concrete metal fibers have been used innumerable times, and in Iran, the use of these fibers for the manufacture of reinforced concrete has also begun for some time.
Concrete steel wires are low-carbon wires that have high performance and, due to their high tensile strength when mixed with concrete, they are well dispersed and develop its mechanical properties. Concrete steel fibers are produced and supplied in different forms. One of the important features of concrete fibers is the stability of concrete against breakage and collapse. And one of the significant effects that fibers have on concrete is that they increase strength and control and delay breakage. As mentioned, by adding fibers to concrete, the brittleness of concrete is reduced, and as a result, its ability to withstand repeated use, shock, impact and abrasion is increased. In the flooring of large industrial factories, these industrial flooring fibers can be easily used instead of reinforcement. Also, these steel concrete fibers can be easily mixed with concrete and are easy to apply.
In general, concrete floor fibers are usually used as a reinforcing material in concrete to increase its mechanical properties and performance. When steel fibers are added to concrete, they act as a secondary reinforcement and improve tensile, flexural and shear strength. The most common application of steel fiber reinforced concrete is in the construction of floor slabs, which can save costs and increase the distance between joints.

Consumption of metal fibers in concrete
How much alloy steel fiber is used in concrete?
The amount of steel fiber consumed per cubic meter of concrete is generally 17 to 18 kilograms.
Concrete metal fiber maintenance
Duration: If stored in a suitable indoor space, it can be stored for at least 10 years.
Conditions: Keep away from moisture and direct sunlight.
Best storage temperature: Place bags containing alloy steel fibers on pallets whenever possible.
Method of using metal fibers in concrete
Concrete metal fibers are added to the ready-mixed concrete mixture during the concrete production process in the factory or on site, and mixing should be done for at least 1 minute per cubic meter of concrete. The best time to add concrete metal fibers to the concrete mixing plan is in the middle stages of concrete production.

Mechanism of action of metal fibers in concrete
Concrete reinforced with metal fibers is a concrete body made of cement, aggregates, water, and a percentage of metal fibers, which are dispersed in a random and random manner in different directions throughout the concrete mix, thus reinforcing the concrete and improving many of its mechanical properties.
Safety of concrete metal fibers
- Metal fibers in concrete are not toxic, dangerous, or flammable materials, but they can pose a risk to the environment because they do not decompose quickly in nature.
- Wear cut-resistant gloves when using.
- If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
